If you are diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, you have certain treatment options, which are as discussed below:

  • Hormone Therapy: the male hormones called as testosterone is known to support the prostate cancer and its growth inside your body. By reducing the extent of testosterone inside your body, the spread and growth of prostate cancer can be reduced to a great extent. Employing hormone therapy, which is also called as androgen ablation (or androgen deprivation) therapy, you can begin with your prostate cancer treatment option. Most of the male hormone testosterone is simply produced with the help of testicles; however, if you remove the same using any surgical procedure, the chances of getting away from the advanced prostate cancer is possible. Though a majority of these therapies prove effective for men, they often not prove out too curative for most of the men who are known to have hormone refractory prostate cancer.
  • Chemotherapy: This is one of the most common methods to remove cancer from the body and advanced prostate cancer is no exception. Thus patients who do not get benefitted from hormone therapy become the candidate for chemotherapy. Though earlier chemotherapy was used only to get rid of the symptomatic metastatic diseases, however, since 2004, it is also used to get rid of the cancer from the body.
  • Immunotherapy: The Immunologic agents are simply employed just to stimulate the immune system of the patients simply to respond against the different types of cancer and advance prostate cancer is also one of them. The patients suffering from these types of cancer can choose for Provenge (sipuleucel-T), which is on one of the effective immunotherapy treatment option meant to use the immune system of the patient in order to find out and treat the prostate cancer cells.

  1. I am a 30 year old married woman with two children. I was suffering from breast tumors since last three years. At first I did not give any heed to my disease but last years I felt terrible when I saw a lot of cancer tumors in my breast. My chest shape also looked awkward to my dear ones and friends. All of them suggested me to get a breast cancer surgery. I was ready to get the surgery but I realized that Nigeria lacked in medical facilities and had a shortage of reliable cancer surgeons. One of my friends Elia suggested me the name of Dheeraj Bojwani Consultant to get breast cancer treatment. I saw the website of this medical tourism company on the internet. I send my details and requirement of the surgery. After 15 days of sending the query this company arranged me a medical visa and I was in Bangalore city within no time. The Indian surgeon treating my breast tumors was very patient friendly. The staff was also compassionate and fluent at speaking English. All of them looked into my needs very well. Today I am leading a happy and healthy life after getting treatment of breast cancer in India. Thank You Dheeraj Bojwani.

  2. My prostate cancer started with great fatigue and slow pain in the lower parts below waist level. I live in a place which is very hot in the summer and my problems started in the summertime. I could not tolerate a fan switched on with my lower limbs in a blanket. When I returned from surgery (castration), I was comfortable in a cooler with an overhead fan!
